Interactive Guided Imagery

Guided Imagery is just a special form of hypnotherapy that allows clear and interactive communication with the subconscious mind. Our subconscious minds work at the level of imagery; this is how your subconscious thinks and learns.

You may not be aware of underlying desires, fears and conflicts that reside in the subconscious, except through dreams and sometimes vague images. Through hypnosis a Hypnotherapist can use imagery to communicate conscious desires and goals to the subconscious, bringing the subconscious mind into alignment with the conscious mind.

Sometimes you might have a goal and you feel you have done everything to accomplish it but something seems to be stopping you from achieving what you consciously desire. As humans we are very complex; very often part of us wants to do one thing and another part wants something else. This type of inter conflict can be a barrier to achieving your goals. Through Interactive Guided Imagery we can identify those inter conflicts and resolve them in a way that relieves the barriers.

Food for Thought

The power of images to influence the subconscious mind and emotions has been know for a millennium. You can find examples of powerful imagery in art and literature throughout the ages. These days some of the most effective imagery is in advertising, TV and movies. What do the images you expose yourself to communicate to your subconscious? How might they affect your thoughts, feelings and behavior? Choose your images and thoughts wisely.

"Thoughts, when properly nourished and internalized, will become a reality in your world of form. Thoughts are extremely powerful things."

- Dr. Wayne Dyer

"When we lift up the eyes of the mind to what is invisible, we should consider metaphors of visible things as if they were steps to understanding."

- Hugh of St. Victors (1100-1141)

"Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it."

- Michael Jordon

"Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."

- Carl Jung
