Stress:Can it be overcome?


Is stress is interfering with your day-to-day routine? We all experience stress, and yet, is that really our lot in life? It does not seem right to simply accept suffering as if it is something that cannot be helped.


I remember one particularly stressful day when everything seemed to be going wrong from the moment I woke up late in the morning, till the time I hit the pillow late that night. As I lay in bed trying to relax after my hectic day, I had to ask myself, "Will I let this rule my life?" It hit me that everytime I've gotten stressed throughout my life, it has felt as if I had no control, and that the chaos inside me was calling all the shots. I know so many people who have expressed similar experiences to me, and I made it my mission to find solutions. To find these solutions, I had to first ask why this even happens at all.

Did you know, the average person has 60,000 thoughts per day? Incredible! Studies show that 95% of these thoughts are automatic or habitual and, in normal people, 60-70% of them are negative. If you experience stress or unhappiness, as many of us have, then a greater percentage of your habitual thought patterns are negative causing negative emotions such as timidity, fear, low self-esteem, irritation, frustration, or sadness.

You are not alone; there is an epidemic of negativity and struggle across the world. In the US, 19% of people will experience anxiety during their lifetime and 15% will experience depression. The World Health Organization has long predicted that depression would become the second leading cause of death.

The good news about stress though is that, though we all live with it, none of us have to. Habitual patterns of thinking that underlie these devastating issues can be changed.


When I started the journey of finding solutions for my own stress, I was also beginning the journey that has led me to help hundreds of people find happiness and reduce their stress as well. I started seeking out the most efficient and effective technology to support positive change. I found ways to help myself, my loved ones, and my clients experience the freedom that we deserve.
